Users can connect one-on-one with other musicians on our Discover page, or send out a musicians wanted Listing to the whole community. And, with our in-person artist showcases, take those musical connections from online to onstage.
Q. What is your business model and how do you plan to monetize?
A. Our model is subscription-based, and supports musicians at every level. Basic lets you connect and message other users. Premium increases visibility with Listings to help you stand out. Pro unlocks professional tools for serious musicians and industry pros, making it easy to showcase services and attract opportunities.
Q. Why did you choose to start this business in this industry?
A. Our team knows music. With backgrounds working in the industry, a passion for playing, and close ties to working musicians, we’ve seen firsthand how hard it is to find a community that fits your style, skill level, and interests. That’s why we built The Medley—to streamline how musicians connect and collaborate.
Q. What qualifications do you and your management team have?
A. CEO Logan Griswold is a software engineer with over ten years of experience at AWS, DXC, Contino and a longtime amateur musician
COO Chris Leo Palermino is a music marketer, manager and journalist with a background at Leo Leo Artists, Myspace and WeWork
CPO Marcos Moreno is the former CPO of Airsset and former head of product at LightSource, Bowlr, and Movem
