Carolina Castilla is a world leader in AI ethics, an electronic music producer, and a Colombian venture capitalist. As an AI expert, she has developed a critical view on the ethical challenges posed by this technology, becoming an influential voice in the global debate on the future of AI.
Arriving in Silicon Valley in 2013 with only a PowerPoint presentation showing the UX/UI design of a software platform to help artists, ideas that came to her after working for major artists such as Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Joel Hamilton among others, Castilla obtained significant funding for her startup, Massive Act Inc. This achievement opened the doors to a series of opportunities that would define her career.
Her experience in Silicon Valley included a crucial role in one of the main music streaming services, where she performed quality control of musical metadata and machine learning programming. This experience deepened her understanding of AI and its ethical implications.
Through Love My Robot and the Startup World Cup, Castilla is driving innovation in Latin America, combining its expertise in AI, blockchain and emerging technologies with an ethical approach. Love My Robot has performed in various locations around the world, including Burning Man 2022, Black Rock City, Bilbao (Spain), Valparaiso (Chile), Bogotá (Col) and the Buena Vida Beach festival in Cartagena (Col), where it was the opening act for Jamie Jones, Anotr and Malone. Additionally, it collaborates with Burning Man with a mutant vehicle stage called aEyeclops.

The artificial intelligence judge it presents through its Luminarium.io accelerator program and venture capital fund was implemented in the Harvard accelerator program, owned by Pegasus Tech Ventures.
